Jackson Walker proudly congratulates Lindsey Kellam Valenta and Lauren Hunsaker on their elections to leadership positions within the Houston Bar Association’s Real Estate Law Section for the 2025-2026 term. Lindsey will serve as Chair, while Lauren will take on the role of Secretary-Treasurer. Both bring valuable experience to their new positions—Lindsey previously served as Chair-Elect, and Lauren as a Council Member of the HBA Real Estate Law Section.
Founded in 1870, the Association was established to uphold high standards in the legal profession and provide legal education for attorneys in Harris County. Over the years, the HBA has grown to become one of the largest metropolitan bar associations in the country, broadening its mission to include public service initiatives and improving access to legal services for all residents of the Greater Houston area.
The Real Estate Section is actively involved in community outreach and fundraising efforts, supporting organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and participating in events like the Harvest Celebration and the HBA Law Week Fun Run. In addition, the Section awards monetary scholarships to up to three students at each of Houston’s law schools.
