For the second year in a row, Jackson Walker law partner Jonathan E. Lass was named the recipient of the 2022-2023 Adjunct Professor of the Year Award by the Student Bar Association of the University of Texas School of Law. This award, which recognizes extraordinary commitment to excellence in teaching and service, was presented at the Celebration of Service on April 18, 2023, at the University of Texas School of Law.

Bobby Chesney, Dean of the University of Texas School of Law, stated, “There are few things we care more about at Texas Law than great classroom instruction, so it is wonderful to see Jonathan recognized for his excellence as a teacher. That this award comes from the students themselves tells you the impact he has made. We are so grateful for his service, mentorship, and commitment to the success of these future lawyers.”

Jonathan stated, “My hope is that the efforts we, the faculty, make today in developing the next generation of lawyers and legal scholars affords them an opportunity one day to change the world for the better. Any part I have in their progress towards that goal is an honor and privilege.”
