Pamela Madere Receives Highest Honor at Real Estate Council of Austin Awards Reception

Jackson Walker congratulates partner Pamela Madere on being named the 2023 recipient of the Gary S. Farmer Commendation of Excellence Award at the Real Estate Council of Austin’s Annual Meeting and Awards Reception. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin, Texas.

The Gary S. Farmer Commendation of Excellence Award is Real Estate Council of Austin’s (RECA) highest honor for an icon in the commercial real estate industry. Throughout her over two-decade career, Pam has made substantial contributions to both RECA and the Central Texas commercial real estate sector, demonstrating a passion for advancing RECA’s mission for responsible development and a more livable Austin.

As a real estate and land use partner at Jackson Walker and a licensed real estate broker, Pam has garnered recognition for her excellence. She has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law (2020-2024) and Land Use and Zoning Law (2021-2024), earning the distinguished title of Lawyer of the Year in Land Use and Zoning Law (2023). Her achievements are further highlighted in her inclusion in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use category.

A former chair of RECA and a current member of the Board of Directors, Pam has demonstrated leadership by mentoring fellow women in the industry and advocating for community education. Additionally, Pam has chaired the Central Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS (CTCAR) and holds the position of Vice Chair and General Counsel for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, providing invaluable guidance in pursuit of the Chamber’s mission for a prosperous regional economy in Central Texas.

Recognized with the 2022 Corporate and Transactional Attorney Award by the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association, Pam is celebrated for her legal work, volunteerism, and fostering a positive workplace environment. Beyond her professional achievements, Pam volunteers with organizations such as The Helping Hand Home for Children, meeting with children once a month to teach art. Pam also serves as Vice Chair of the Central Texas Public Safety Commission. The commission enables community members such as Pam to support public safety concerns.
