February 15, 2023 | Attorney News

Julia MannJackson Walker partner Julia W. Mann has been named a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Each year, one-third of 1% of State Bar members are invited to become fellows. Fellows are chosen for their outstanding professional achievements and demonstrated commitment to improving the Texas justice system. A Fellow becomes a permanent member of the Texas Bar Foundation with the distinction of Life Fellow.

More than 100 Jackson Walker attorneys have been elected to fellowship, and they continue to support the foundation either as fellows, life fellows, or sustaining life fellows. A fellow has made a pledge to the foundation, a life fellow has completed his or her initial pledge, and a sustaining life fellow continues to support the foundation even after fulfilling his or her pledge.

As the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the nation, the Texas Bar Foundation has contributed more than $20 million to worthy projects focused on providing opportunities and protecting justice.

Julia is the managing partner of Jackson Walker’s San Antonio office and a member of the firm’s Management, Compensation, Recruiting, and Statewide Business Development committees. The depth and breadth of Julia’s practice includes leading Texas industries such as energy, agriculture, technology, insurance, and financial institutions. In recognition of her practice, Julia has been recognized among Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2021, The Best Lawyers in America since 2018, and as a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters since 2012.
