Jackson Walker partner Mary Lou Flynn-DuPart was quoted in a Dec. 19, 2014 article in The Texas Lawbook titled “Law Firms Embrace Family-Friendly Holiday Events for Clients.”

The article described many family-friendly holiday parties that law firms host around Texas and how these events give firms and clients a new way to celebrate the holiday season.

Ms. Flynn-DuPart talked about how these events are different compared to traditional business development but still important and fun for the clients and the firms.

“People without children or with adult children don’t understand what a huge gift it is to give your clients a fun-filled morning downtown,” she said. “The clients bring their kids and the attorneys bring their kids. Everyone’s kids mix and mingle, and it’s a nice event to interact on a family level.”

Ms. Flynn-DuPart is a litigation and intellectual property attorney who specializes in trying cases as well as helping clients navigate the changing landscape of electronic discovery in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. She is also a Board Member of the Gulf Coast Mental Health Mental Retardation Services. She was appointed by Brazoria County Commissioners Court in 1990. Ms. Flynn-DuPart was named Madison Who’s Who and United Who’s Who in 2005. She is licensed to practice in Texas, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and numerous district courts.
