Patrick Tobin Co-Hosts World Affairs Council of San Antonio 2014 International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner

Jackson Walker partner Patrick Tobin and his wife, Tricia, hosted the World Affairs Council of San Antonio’s 2014 International Citizen of the Year Award dinner.

The gala event honored Dr. Henry G. Cisneros, former mayor of San Antonio and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and featured a keynote address by President Bill Clinton.

The International Citizen of the Year Award was established in 1985 to honor an individual who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness of global issues and the growth of San Antonio’s importance as an international city. Mr. Tobin has been extensively involved in the World Affairs Council of San Antonio for a number of years, having served as Chairman in 2011–12.

In his legal practice, Mr. Tobin represents clients in a variety of corporate, securities and other business law matters, including mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt financings, public and private securities offerings, venture capital funding, private equity transactions, international transactions, and other general business law matters. Mr. Tobin has experience in a variety of industries, including technology, construction, food and beverage, financial services, healthcare, oil and gas, and energy. He is the Managing Partner of the firm’s San Antonio office.
