The Texas Bar College is a honor society comprised of legal scholars who are recognized as leaders in the Texas legal community. The organization is dedicated to championing legal education, upholding high ethical standards, and fostering improved training for all legal professionals. Notably, the Texas Bar College is the only organization in the United States established specifically to promote and recognize attorneys who demonstrate a commitment to excellence through voluntary participation in continuing legal education programs.
Nate has been an active member of the Texas Bar College Board of Directors, contributing his expertise and leadership to several committees. His service includes roles on the Finance Committee, the Grants & Endowment Fund Committee, and as Chair of the Awards Committee.
As an intellectual property litigator and counselor, Nate focuses his practice on patent litigation, as well as patent portfolio licensing and management. His work encompasses performing infringement and invalidity analyses, conducting patentability studies, assessing risk, and providing general IP counseling, particularly in the electrical and mechanical arts. Nate’s dedication has earned him significant recognition. In 2024, he was one of only six attorneys shortlisted for the Litigator of the Year – Texas award by Managing IP. This honor marks the second consecutive year that Nate has been named a “Patent Star.”
