The Texas Lyceum Instates Joel Heydenburk as Director

Fort Worth partner Joel Heydenburk was recently named one of 18 new Directors of The Texas Lyceum, a nonprofit that strives to cultivate the next generation of Texas leaders by engaging in meetings that address public policy. As a Director, Joel will participate in conferences that confront a variety of topics, such as technology innovation, global relations, and agriculture.

The non-partisan group comprises 96 men and women from around Texas who begin their six-year term while under age 46 and who have established leadership among their communities and professions. One U.S. president, three Texas governors and two U.S. senators are Texas Lyceum alumni.

Joel W. Heydenburk is a real estate attorney who focuses his practice on real estate transactions and operational issues in connection with commercial real estate. His experience consists of representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions and sales of commercial properties ranging from $1 million and exceeding $200 million. Joel is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and is involved with the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association’s Real Estate Section, Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, Fort Worth CREW, Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court, and the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. Joel’s been named a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters and was recognized in FW, Inc.‘s Top Attorneys List. He received his J.D. at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as a Business Manager for Texas Tech Law Review.
