Jenny Roan Forgey Expands Jackson Walker’s Land Use Practice in Austin

Jackson Walker is pleased to welcome Jenny Roan Forgey as Senior Counsel in the Land Use practice group of the Austin office. Jenny joins with a background focused on the development of residential and commercial mixed-use communities, as well as governance design for complex master-planned communities.

Jenny specializes in intricate real estate transactions, with a successful track record in forming condominium regimes, facilitating the sale and purchase of commercial properties and raw land, and drafting governance documents for planned communities in both residential and commercial settings.

On her decision to join Jackson Walker, Jenny noted, “I am excited to become a part of Jackson Walker’s dynamic Land Use group. Being a member of the largest land use and municipal law practice group in the Southwest allows me to provide significant value to my clients. Beyond traditional land use practices, Jenny has a comprehensive understanding of the impact that evolving digital technology has on the land use and real estate industries. She has experience navigating emerging trends such as the Metaverse, NFTs, Smart Contracts, and Blockchain as they relate to real estate development.

Jenny obtained her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law and her B.S. from Georgetown University.
