Meet Lisa

Lisa’s practice focuses on a broad range of transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; investments in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and real estate funds; direct investments in operating entities; and formation of complex joint ventures, partnerships, limited liability companies and strategic alliances.

She has more than 35 years of experience counseling private investors, including family offices, as well as clients investing in traditional asset classes, including real estate and entities in the health care, technology, energy and aerospace sectors.

“Jackson Walker has a highly recognized Corporate & Securities practice with an international presence and strong Texas roots,” Lisa said. “I look forward to continuing to grow my practice and client base, and teaming up with Graham again.”

Lisa received her J.D., cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law and her B.S., cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University.

Meet Graham

Graham’s practice focuses on representing sponsors and investors in the formation, offering and ongoing operations of a wide variety of open and closed-ended private investment fund structures spanning multiple strategies and asset classes, including hedge, private equity, private credit, real estate, energy and infrastructure, digital asset, venture capital and fund-of-funds. Graham’s transactional funds practice is strengthened by his regulatory background helping registered investment advisers, commodity pool operators and other corporate clients navigate complex issues arising under SEC, CFTC and NFA rules and regulations.

Graham began his legal career in Washington D.C. at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission working on various Dodd-Frank rulemakings impacting the trading and market structure of derivatives. He has also served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for the asset management division of a multinational financial services company, and as counsel in the investment funds practice at a large global law firm.

On his decision to join the firm, Graham stated, “I was drawn to Jackson Walker because of its highly regarded national LP practice, deep transactional bench and reputation as a culture leader among law firms in Texas. I look forward to helping grow the firm’s sponsor-side representation and derivatives experience, particularly in the hedge fund space.”

Graham received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law and his B.B.A., with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
