Biography
Blake Mattingly represents plaintiffs and defendants, from individuals to large corporations, in a wide range of litigation in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals nationwide. His commercial litigation experience includes contractual disputes, business torts, fiduciary duties, fraud, employment disputes, franchise law, trade secrets, business divorces, post-judgment disputes and creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, commercial lease disputes, appeals and class actions. He also serves as outside counsel to healthcare staffing companies. Blake is skilled at quickly identifying and analyzing complex legal issues and counseling his clients to ensure the greatest mitigation of risk or securing maximum recovery.
Prior to Jackson Walker, Blake practiced at a well-respected litigation boutique in Dallas, Texas where he represented businesses from nonprofits to large private equity firms. At SMU Dedman School of Law, Blake was a Staff Writer for the SMU International Law Review and was selected to various moot court teams earning the Best Oral Advocate Award at the Thomas Tang International Moot Court Competition.
