Biography
Christa Bunce is an attorney in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining Jackson Walker, Christa was a term law clerk for the Honorable Ada Brown of the Northern District of Texas. During her clerkship, Christa gained exposure to a variety of civil matters, including cases that involved statutory interpretation, employment discrimination , municipal liability, and the Hague Convention. Christa’s clerkship experience built upon her previous externship with Judge Brown during law school.
While in law school, Christa was involved with the SMU Law Review Association, where she was awarded Best Comment and subsequently published. She also served as an attorney ad litem and advocate on behalf of children in the Texas foster care system through SMU’s Child Advocacy Clinic. Christa was also a summer associate at the firm and served as a research assistant for Professor Joanna Grossman.
