Biography
Derek Pennartz is an attorney in the Immigration section of Jackson Walkerā€™s Dallas office, where he focuses his practice on employment-based immigration for multinational employers. He counsels corporate clients on the full range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, advising on strategy, compliance, and high-volume workforce immigration programs.
Derek has significant experience with immigrant and nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1Bs, L-1As, L-1Bs, TNs, E-3s, H-1B-1s, and O-1s, as well as PERM applications, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 I-140 Immigrant Petitions, Family-Based I-140 Immigrant Petitions, and Adjustments of Status. He also regularly prepares responses to agency challenges, including Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny, audits, and Supervised Recruitment.
