Biography
Emily Mann is an attorney in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice at Jackson Walker’s San Antonio office. Her work covers a wide array of litigation matters, with a particular focus on energy litigation.
Since joining Jackson Walker, Emily has litigated a variety of issues, including but not limited to underpayment of royalties, bad faith washouts, trespass-to-try-title actions, breach of contract cases, partitions of real property, and surface disputes. Her work spans a diverse group of clients, including surface owners, mineral owners, and midstream companies.
While in law school, Emily was a member of the St. Mary’s National Moot Court Team. She argued before both federal and state judges, including the Supreme Court of Texas. Her advocacy skills earned her multiple accolades: she is a two-time national champion, two-time national finalist, regional champion, and state champion, and she received several individual awards for her advocacy. Upon graduation, Emily received the Patricia L. Scott Award, given to the top advocate at St. Mary’s each year, and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers.
Emily was born and raised in South Texas in a household that valued hard work and character—values she carries into her practice.
