Biography

Mayson Moody is an attorney in the Corporate & Securities practice of Jackson Walker’s Austin office. Her practice consists of institutional investor representation, M&A transactions and capital markets work.

In her practice, Mayson counsels clients with respect to alternative assets investments, including both “private markets” and “public markets” strategies. Mayson reviews and negotiates investment documentation on behalf of foreign and domestic institutional investors, including pension plans and university endowments, responding to a variety of unique and evolving, policy-based and statute-based requirements with respect to clients’ investments.

Mayson also advises on a range of other corporate and securities matters, including assisting alternative asset managers with the formation of private fund vehicles, including co-investment vehicles, representing both targets and acquirers in merger and acquisition transactions, and negotiating secondary market transactions.
