Biography
Noel Valdez graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and received his law degree from Cornell University in 2000. His practice is primarily focused on serving as bond counsel, special disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in general obligation bond issuances and revenue-backed financings, including revenue obligations secured by sales taxes, tax increment, system revenues and/or intergovernmental revenue-sharing arrangements.
Noel has represented cities, counties, school districts, and other special districts in a wide range of new money and refunding transactions. Noel began working exclusively in public finance in 2002 and is known for his professionalism and straightforward approach, providing clients with clear guidance on complex legal and regulatory financing issues.
