Biography

Trevor Paul is a Texas-based trial and appellate lawyer in state and federal court. Because of Trevor’s extensive experience working for state and federal judges, he has a deep understanding of the court system, including a judge’s preferences, procedures, and expectations. This invaluable knowledge helps his clients navigate the complexities of the legal system, tailor arguments to resonate with a judge, and achieve favorable results.

Trevor joined Jackson Walker after serving as a judicial law clerk for Judge Mark T. Pittman and Judge Reed O’Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, in which he managed and drafted opinions in several high-profile and complex cases. Trevor also finished 2nd out of 31 federal clerks in a nationwide judicial clerkship writing competition.

Before clerking, Trevor earned a degree from Texas A&M School of Law, where he participated in moot court, was a member of the Texas A&M Law Journal of Property Law, and worked for Judge Mark T. Pittman and Judge Dabney Bassel. Trevor earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University, where he played on the men’s soccer team.
