Biography
West M. Bakke is an associate in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice of Jackson Walker’s San Antonio office. Before joining the firm, he served as a judicial law clerk at the D.C. Circuit and the Southern District of Texas.
West graduated first in his class at SMU Law. In law school he argued a case before the Fifth Circuit and clerked in the Texas Office of the Solicitor General. West also interned for Judge Boyle of the Northern District of Texas and externed for Judge Haynes of the Fifth Circuit.
Outside of law, West enjoys golf and hunting in South Texas. He is an Eagle Scout.
