Biography
Will Farmer is an attorney in the Finance & Banking practice of Jackson Walker’s Dallas office. A former law clerk at a bankruptcy court, Will is experienced with debt restructurings and workouts, secured and unsecured financings, second lien financings, and agreements related to asset-based facilities.
Prior to Jackson Walker, Will served as a term law clerk to the Honorable William T. Thurman of the Utah Bankruptcy Court and as a judicial extern in the Texas Northern Bankruptcy Court. He also served as a legal summer associate at a Texas-based travel center chain, where he supported the real estate development team with title research, land survey analysis, drafting easements, procuring municipal entitlements, and drafting real estate and construction loans.
Prior to attending law school, Will was an investment banking analyst at a provider of transactional advisory services to the downstream energy, retail, business services, and distribution industries. In that role, he developed financial models and maintained subsequent process management for projects such as sourcing financial solutions, initial business valuations, and sale-side transactions.
