Andrew Baumgardner Receives Board Certification in Commercial Real Estate Law

Jackson Walker proudly congratulates Andrew L. Baumgardner on becoming Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS).

To obtain certification, attorneys must practice law full-time for at least five years as an active State Bar of Texas member; have at least three years of experience in real estate law with their practice annually consisting of at least 30% real estate law matters and at least 20% commercial real estate law matters; have references from qualified, vetted judges and attorneys in the area; complete 60 hours of TBLS-approved CLE in real estate law; meet all of the TBLS Standards for Attorney Certification; and pass a comprehensive six-hour examination in real estate law.

Only 366 attorneys in Texas are Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law, 14 of whom are Jackson Walker attorneys. Fellow board-certified commercial real estate attorneys include Thad H. Armstrong, Randal S. Farber, Lewis S. Kasner, Kevin L. Kelley, Michael K. Kuhn, C. Bradford Lowry, Steven R. Martens, James M. McDonough, Alfred M. Meyerson, Vytas A. Petrulis, David M. Robins, Patrick T. Sharkey, and Timothy C. Taylor.

Meet Andrew

Andrew Baumgardner focuses on commercial real estate and related corporate matters. He has represented clients in a variety of acquisition, development, and leasing projects, both locally and around the country. Andrew also serves as outside general counsel and consults clients on corporate and litigation matters related to commercial real estate issues. He is a graduate of the San Antonio Real Estate Council Leadership Development Program, a prior recipient of San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award, and an alumni member of Leadership San Antonio.
