Priya Coffey, Sang Shin, and Yenmi Tang to Speak at Texas State Bar Asian Pacific Interest Section Annual Conference

Jackson Walker attorneys Priya Coffey, Sang M. Shin, and Yenmi Tang will speak at the 28th Annual Texas State Bar Asian Pacific Interest Section (APIS) Conference on April 25, 2026, at the Thompson Hotel in Houston.

Priya will be speaking on the “Moving Beyond the Partner Title: Perspectives on Leadership from Four Managing Partners,” panel.

Sang, Immediate Past Chair of APIS, will be speaking on the “One Year In: Navigating Business Immigration Under a New Administration: Policy Volatility, Practical Compliance, and Strategic Workforce Planning,” panel. Jackson Walker Business Immigration & Compliance attorney Yenmi Tang will be moderating.

Formed in 1995, the Asian Pacific Interest Section of the Texas State Bar was created to advance the professional interests of Texas lawyers of Asian-Pacific American heritage, utilize the legal skills of its members to promote Asian interests and concerns throughout the State of Texas.

Meet Priya

Priya Coffey’s practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of land, office buildings, and retail centers, and the representation of landlords and tenants in commercial office building lease and retail lease transactions. Priya’s experience extends to advising her clients on City of Houston ordinances and other governmental compliance-related matters.

 

 

Meet Sang

Sang M. Shin is a business immigration attorney with broad experience managing immigration matters for companies, individuals, investors, and institutions through the U.S. and internationally. Sang handles a wide range of nonimmigrant visas and petitions and provides advanced and strategic advice to clients on a variety of immigrant visas and labor certification (PERM). Sang also helps foreign companies with their U.S. market entry, growth, and expansion efforts as they enter the United States by serving as outside counsel to their various legal needs.

 

 

Yenmi Tang

Yenmi Tang focuses her practice on employment-based immigration matters. She advises clients on a wide range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, as well as labor certification (PERM) applications, across numerous occupations. Yenmi also has significant experience guiding foreign nationals through EB-1A, National Interest Waiver, and EB-5 investor petitions in support of obtaining lawful permanent residence in the United States.
