Charles Smith Receives Ethical Life Award
The Ethical Life Award recognizes attorneys and law firms that demonstrate a strong and clear commitment to ethics in the practice of law. Mr. Smith was the only private practice lawyer chosen to receive this award, which was presented during the Ethics Follies program on September 25, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Smith is the third Jackson Walker attorney to receive the Ethical Life Award in the past four years, joining partner Steve Fogle and late partner Rocky Walker as recent recipients.
A number of attorneys from Jackson Walker and other law offices, as well as long-time clients, nominated Charlie for his strong and clear commitment to ethics and his reputation for integrity, excellence, and successful management of conflicts of interest.
“This prestigious award recognizes what we have all seen and known: that Charlie’s core values include a strong and clear commitment to ethics,” said Patrick Tobin, managing partner of Jackson Walker’s San Antonio office.
