Jackson Walker is pleased to announce that Evan Malloy, partner in the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice in Fort Worth, has been selected as a finalist for the 13th Annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards. Evan was recognized in the Dealmakers of the Year category as a finalist for Attorney of the Year.

The annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards, presented by D CEO in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth–DFW, honor the most impactful North Texas transactions and the deal professionals behind them. Finalists are selected for their leadership, sophistication, and contributions to the region’s most significant mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.

Evan focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, advising public and privately-held companies on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. He has represented clients across a wide variety of industries in negotiated acquisitions and divestitures totaling over $10 billion in aggregate consideration. Evan has developed a particular focus on representing portfolio companies in add-on acquisitions, partnering with numerous management teams and leading financial sponsors in the process.

In addition to his transactional work, Evan routinely counsels clients on SEC compliance, financial reporting, and corporate governance matters. He also serves as city practice group leader for Jackson Walker’s Fort Worth Corporate & Securities practice.

Evan has been widely recognized for his work in mergers and acquisitions, including multiple honors as one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Dealmakers in America” and recognition in the inaugural edition of the Legal 500 Elite in 2025.

Finalists will be featured in the May issue of D CEO and recognized at the 2026 Mergers & Acquisitions Awards ceremony in the spring.
