Sean Gallagher Selected to Join Austin Bar/AYLA 2022 Leadership Academy

Sean GallagherJackson Walker attorney Sean F. Gallagher has been selected to join the Austin Bar/AYLA Leadership Academy. Through his participating in the program, Sean joins a group of Austin lawyers working to improve the Austin community, serving the Bar, and promoting professional development.

The Austin Young Lawyers Association (AYLA) is a professional association that promotes justice through community service. Open to Austin attorneys under the age of 40 or licensed for three years or less, AYLA helps young attorneys socialize, network with judges, and access CLE programs. In addition, AYLA members develop, organize, and implement a variety of service programs, including Women’s Resource Fair, Holiday Baskets, Reentry Project, Reindeer Games, and Day of Service.

The Austin Bar/AYLA Leadership Academy runs through June of each year. Members participate in an initial retreat, followed by a series of luncheons where they interact with leaders in public policy, government, the private sector, nonprofits, and the Bar. The course culminates with a class project.

Sean is a business trial lawyer who represents clients in a broad array of complex issues, including fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, director and officer liability, business divorces, partnership disputes, trademark and copyright disputes, Lanham Act claims, RICO claims, civil rights claims, and whistleblower litigation. In recognition of his practice, Sean has been named to the Super Lawyers’ “Texas Rising Stars” list since 2020 and as a “One to Watch” in the area of Commercial Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America in 2022.
