Noah Galton Elected Vice Chair of Austin Bar Association’s Eminent Domain Section

Jackson Walker partner Noah M. Galton has been elected Vice Chair of the Eminent Domain Section of the Austin Bar Association.

Launched in 2021, the Eminent Domain Section is the only eminent domain bar section in the state, and provides eminent domain attorneys with educational and networking opportunities.

Noah GaltonNoah focuses on commercial litigation, including eminent domain, real estate litigation, litigating issues surrounding governmental/sovereign immunity, and general business litigation.  Noah’s eminent domain practice involves representation of river authorities, electricity providers, oil/gas midstream and interstate pipeline companies, railroads, municipal utility districts, special utility districts, municipalities, and independent schools districts in the acquisition of real property rights for extensive public projects aimed at expanding critical infrastructure in Texas. In addition, Noah has wide-ranging experience representing landowners seeking to secure just compensation in eminent domain matters, including individual property owners, residential and commercial developers, and business owners.   Noah has prosecuted numerous lawsuits to jury verdict in both state and federal court, and has appeared in dozens of administrative hearings across the State.

In addition to the Austin Bar Association’s Eminent Domain Section, Noah serves on the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy Development Committee. He has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers – Rising Stars since 2019, a “Top Attorney” in Eminent Domain by Austin Monthly in 2021, and a Finalist for the Austin Under 40 Award in 2020. He has also been named a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
