Jackson Walker Moves Dallas Offices to Arts District

October 13, 2015 | Press Releases

Jackson Walker LLP is pleased to announce that it has moved its Dallas offices to the KPMG Plaza at Hall Arts office building in the heart of the Dallas Arts District.

The move provides enhanced efficiencies and amenities for the firm’s clients and places Jackson Walker at the center of one of the city’s most vibrant and exciting developments.

“Jackson Walker has developed a reputation as a forward-looking firm, and this move reflects our commitment to investing in the future of our firm and one of the cities we call home, while at the same time providing the utmost in convenience and value for our clients,” said Wade Cooper, firmwide managing partner.

CBRE brokers Jeff Ellerman and Phil Puckett assisted Jackson Walker with the office agreement, and global architecture firm Gensler designed the firm’s office, which provides a more effective use of space. The firm reduced its footprint by about 27 percent.

“This is a significant step forward for us,” said David Moran, managing partner for the firm’s Dallas office. “This new building, with modern design and facilities, suits the way the business of law operates today. This allows us to create tremendous efficiencies for our clients.”

Jackson Walker joins international accounting firm KPMG in the new building. In addition to its location in the center of the nation’s largest arts district, the 18-story office tower offers 20,000 feet of restaurant space, a sculpture garden, ample underground parking, and exceptional views of Downtown, Uptown and Klyde Warren Park. The development is designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification and is conveniently accessible to public transportation. These factors ultimately played a part in Jackson Walker’s decision to choose Hall Arts.

“We’ve been in Downtown since our founding in 1887,” David said. “We’re a part of Dallas, and we’re committed to Dallas’s growth, vitality, and future, so we felt it was critical for us to stay in the city center. This new building offers everything we were looking for and more – it is a place our clients will want to visit and our lawyers and staff will enjoy.”
