Jackson Walker’s standing in The Texas Lawbook’s M&A Deal Count By Law Firms list has advanced to No. 8 in Texas. This marks the third consecutive year that Jackson Walker has risen in the rankings.
The Texas Lawbook maintains a Corporate Deal Tracker database of M&A deals, which includes mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private equity/venture capital investments. Each quarter, the publication issues an in-depth report outlining deal activity for the top law firms and attorneys who lead those deals in Texas.
“Ranking No. 8 demonstrates Jackson Walker’s continued growth in both the magnitude and value of our corporate and securities practice,” said Richard F. Dahlson, Dallas-based leader of the Corporate and Securities practice group, which is one of the largest in the state.
“Our 2018 activity has accelerated, and we anticipate a significant growth in the number and value of deals this year.”
In The Texas Lawbook’s list of top attorneys who handled the most M&A activity, Rick ranked No. 3 in Dallas and placed in the top 30 in Texas. Also recognized in the list was San Antonio partner Stephanie L. Chandler, who placed among the top nine dealmaking women attorneys in the state.
