Jackson Walker L.L.P. was recognized as a 2014 “Champion of Justice” law firm for its contributions to the Texas Access to Justice Commission’s annual fundraising campaign.

The Texas Access to Justice Commission, created by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2001, is charged with developing and implementing initiatives designed to expand access to, and enhance the quality of, justice in civil legal matters for low-income Texans. The Commission’s annual fundraising campaign provides attorneys with an opportunity to support the organization’s mission by including an Access to Justice contribution with their State Bar of Texas dues.

“Champions of Justice” law firms were designated in two categories: highest amount raised and highest percentage of participation among attorneys at the firm. Jackson Walker was recognized among firms with the highest amount raised. Awards will be presented to the winning firms at a reception on October 20 in Austin.
