Jackson Walker Represents Air Methods in Acquisition of San Antonio AirLIFE

Jackson Walker successfully represented Air Methods Corporation (NASDAQ: AIRM) in its acquisition of San Antonio AirLIFE, a medical transport service owned by Baptist Health System of San Antonio/Tenet Corporation, and Bexar County Hospital District, doing business as University Health System. The transaction was announced on Oct. 5, 2015.

Englewood, Colorado-based Air Methods acquired substantially all of San Antonio AirLIFE’s assets in the deal, including the program name, branding, medical equipment, and the Flight Communication Center (FLTCOMM). In addition, Air Methods will acquire two aircraft owned by University Health System.

Air Methods was represented by a Jackson Walker team led by Mike Laussade and including Wayne Malecha, Jim Struble, Michael Kaufman, Pete Wahl, Jeff Drummond, Steve Moore, Matthew Kimberlin and Joseph Guajardo.
