Jackson Walker Represents Periscope Holdings, Inc. in Investment Transaction

January 7, 2015 | Client Results

Jackson Walker represented Periscope Holdings, Inc. in connection with an investment by Parthenon Capital Partners in Periscope. Simultaneous with the investment by Parthenon, which closed on December 8, 2014, Periscope acquired BidSync.

Austin-based Periscope provides procurement solutions and services to the higher education and public sector. BidSync, based in American Fork, Utah, is best known for its eSourcing solutions and for having the largest government bid notification system in North America. Both companies are pioneers in the industry and have been instrumental in creating the solutions that have transformed public procurement over the last 15 years.

The transaction was led by Jackson Walker attorneys Brandon Janes and Carlos Treviño, with assistance from other attorneys at the firm, including Ron Kerridge, Chuck Campbell, Collin Baker and Sally Hartman, as well as paralegal Cathie Martin. This transaction demonstrates the strength of Jackson Walker’s Corporate & Securities practice in representing clients in the full range of merger and acquisition transactions, from large to small and from simple to extremely complex.
