Jackson Walker proudly congratulates Houston partner Kurt D. Nondorf on being named one of 50 attorneys in the nation to receive a Lawyers in Real Estate Award from Connect Media. Launched this year, the Awards recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the greater community.
Kurt provides reliable and creative client service in the areas of capital transactions (transfers of improved properties) and major office lease transactions. He represents institutional clients in connection with the acquisition, sale, financing, and leasing of raw land, office buildings, apartment complexes, industrial sites, warehouses, and hotels.
In his more than 30 years of practice, Kurt has handled multiple nine-figure office acquisitions and sales and has represented both tenants and landlords in several leases of greater than 400,000 square feet. One of his recent representations is related to the development of the Saltillo District in East Austin, which was named the âProject of the Yearâ at the Austin Business Journalâs 2020 Commercial Real Estate Awards.

Outside of his practice, he remains active in the local community as a director of Covenant House Texas, is currently a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and has served as a chair of the Houston Bar Associationâs Real Estate Section and a member of the Houston Real Estate Lawyers Council.
