April 1, 2015 | Attorney News

The conference provides practical and detailed coverage of the updates, key issues, strategies, and opportunities facing members of the healthcare community. Jed will speak Wednesday evening during a pre-conference concurrent session titled “Health Law Fundamentals.” Paula will speak Thursday morning during a session titled “Managed Care Contracting: What’s New, What’s Important?”

Paula has a wide-ranging practice that includes representing clients in managed care, healthcare, employment/employee benefits, and business litigation matters. In each of these areas, she takes a focused approach based on the client’s specific objectives, rather than “one size fits all” counseling and advocacy. She also employs legal project management techniques to ensure that the services provided not only meet the client’s current needs but also take into consideration related matters, thus adding efficiency and value for her clients. Paula received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Baylor University and her J.D., with honors, from Baylor University School of Law.

Jed has practiced healthcare law for over 30 years. He specializes in the regulatory and transactional aspects of healthcare law. Jed has extensive background in Medicare and Medicaid regulatory and reimbursement issues, fraud and abuse, including Stark, False Claims Act, and anti-kickback laws, state law issues such as corporate practice of medicine and licensing matters, as well as antitrust and managed care issues. He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
