Reagan MarbleJackson Walker congratulates Reagan Marble on his inclusion in the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2025 class of “40 Under 40” honorees. This accolade recognizes young professionals under the age of 40 who are making remarkable contributions to the San Antonio community.

Born and raised on his family’s working cattle ranches in South Texas and Northeastern New Mexico, Reagan seamlessly integrates his background as a cattleman, hunter, and fisherman into his energy and natural resources practice. He handles both energy deals and litigation across Texas and New Mexico, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. This dual focus on litigation and transactional work demonstrates his versatility and ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.

His litigation practice namely focuses on oil and gas disputes in the Eagle Ford Shale and Permian Basin and renewable and alternative energy disputes along the Texas Gulf Coast. One of Reagan’s standout achievements, however, is his transactional work, as he helps landowners and companies develop non-traditional natural resources. Reagan has been a legal pioneer in the world of water, sand, wind, solar, carbon, and lithium.

Reagan’s entrepreneurial spirit is also showcased through his passionate involvement in M&M Cattle Company, a third-generation, family-owned stocker cattle operation in which he is a full partner. He frequently finds himself meeting with clients at his law office near The Pearl in the morning, and then receiving or shipping a load of cattle from M&M’s headquarters on the Medina River in the afternoon. His ability to balance a thriving legal career and operating a third-generation family-owned cattle company is a testament to his exceptional time management and leadership skills.

Beyond his professional achievements, Reagan is deeply committed to his community. He serves on the boards of Young Professionals in Energy – San Antonio and the Landman and Lawyers Clays Shoot of South Texas, where he helps raise significant funds for charitable organizations such as the Children’s Bereavement Center and Wounded Warriors. Reagan also chairs Jackson Walker San Antonio’s United Way Campaign, leading the office to raise over $100,000 and earning recognition as the highest per capita law firm donor.

Reagan’s dedication to community service extends to his involvement with Mission City Church and various professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association, and the American Association of Professional Landmen. His efforts to mentor young professionals and support local initiatives have made a lasting impact on the San Antonio community.

Reagan Marble’s contributions to the field of energy law and his community have not gone unnoticed. He has been consistently recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters, San Antonio Magazine, and Scene in S.A. His inclusion in the “Up-and-Coming 100: Texas Rising Stars” list and the “Who’s Who in Energy” by the San Antonio Business Journal further underscores his leadership and impact in the energy sector.

Reagan Marble’s inclusion in SABJ’s “40 Under 40” list is a demonstration of his exceptional achievements and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in San Antonio and beyond. To view the full list of recognized professionals, visit “40 Under 40.”
