Jackson Walker partner April Vasquez Leibman and senior counsel Taylor Lamb represented Houston-based Hines in finalizing a lease agreement at Texas Tower for British law firm Clifford Chance.

Covering an expansive 60,400 square feet across two floors within the 47-story, 1 million-square-foot tower situated at 845 Texas Ave. in downtown Houston, this lease is a significant expansion of Clifford Chance’s footprint within Texas Tower. Notably, Texas Tower continues to attract industry-leading companies, achieving an impressive 80% leased status.

According to Hines, Texas Tower recently attained Platinum LEED, WELL, SmartScore, and WiredScore designations, distinguishing it as one of the few office buildings in the nation with such comprehensive certifications. Additionally, it holds the unique distinction of being the sole SmartScore Platinum-certified building in Houston and one of only four in the United States to boast both SmartScore and WiredScore Platinum certifications.
