Jackson Walker is proud to announce that partner Denise Rose has been appointed to the Texas Woman’s University Center for Women in Government (CWG) Speakers Bureau, housed within the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership.
The CWG Speakers Bureau is a statewide network amplifying the voices of leaders who are making a difference in public service across Texas. Through this initiative, Texas Woman’s University connects schools, universities, civic organizations, and community groups with inspiring speakers who serve in elected office, staff roles, government agencies, advocacy organizations, and civic life. The Speakers Bureau includes both women in government and men who actively support women’s leadership in public service.
“I am honored to join CWG’s Speakers Bureau and to help amplify the voices of Texans committed to public service,” stated Denise. “Engaging with students and community partners to share real-world perspectives on policymaking and civic leadership is a privilege, and I look forward to encouraging more women—and the allies who support them—to step forward, lead, and serve.”
“Engaging with students and community partners to share real-world perspectives on policymaking and civic leadership is a privilege.”
As a free and accessible resource, the CWG Speakers Bureau enables students and communities to engage directly with practitioners who generate dialogue on leadership, service, and civic engagement. By fostering these conversations, the initiative helps cultivate the next generation of engaged, informed leaders across Texas.
