On behalf of San Antonio-based venture capital fund Geekdom Fund, Jackson Walker attorneys Stephanie Chandler and Alexine Zacarías Friedman assisted in raising more than $2.3 million in separate sidecar funding rounds related to cloud-based software providers One Model Inc. and Tenfold Corp.
Founded in 2014, Geekdom Fund is a venture capital fund that invests in early stage IT startups in San Antonio, South Texas, and beyond.
Based in Austin, One Model and Tenfold focus on facilitating data collection and analysis. In 2017, Geekdom Fund led a $3.7 million seed round for One Model, which supports human resources data and analytics needs of customers in over 156 cities worldwide. In October 2019, Geekdom Fund participated in a $400,000 in Series C funding for Tenfold, a next generation CTI company that integrates the world’s leading CRM and voice platforms.
