Jackson Walker congratulates Meredith S. Tavallaee on graduating from the Leadership Arts Institute as a member of the Dallas Class of 2022.
Founded in 1989, the Leadership Arts Institute (LAI) is a program of the Business Council for the Arts, a nonprofit that builds business and arts partnerships to advance arts and culture in North Texas. Each year, the LAI program introduces members to speakers who are well-versed in the victories, tribulations, day-to-day management, and histories of local arts and cultural organizations. In addition, members take part in hands-on arts management through a class project.
The 2022 LAI class launched Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) in North Texas and continues to collect intercept surveys at art venues throughout the area. AEP6 is conducted in partnership with regional cities and Americans for the Arts. AEP6 measures the positive economic impacts of nonprofit arts and culture organizations in such areas as employment and tourism.
Meredith joins an ever-growing list of Jackson Walker attorneys to participate in the Leadership Arts Institute, including S. Brad Brown, Chris R. Bankler, Alden S. Crow, Mario Perez Dolan, Larry E. Glasgow, L. Suzan Kedron, Virginia Alverson Mimmack, and Amy Osberg Roberts.
