Courtney Bristow Expands Jackson Walker’s Real Estate Financing Practice in Dallas

Courtney BristowJackson Walker is pleased to announce the addition of Courtney D. Bristow as a partner in the Dallas office’s Finance & Banking practice. Courtney’s practice is focused on representing institutional lenders with commercial real estate loans intended for securitization or sale in the secondary market.

Prior to Jackson Walker, Courtney practiced at a law firm specializing in real estate, real estate finance, and trusts and estates, where she served as managing partner of the Dallas office, chaired the Auto Finance practice, and co-chaired the Women’s Leadership Initiative. She also previously practiced in the real estate structured finance group of a national corporate law firm.

Courtney has been named an “On the Rise” honoree in Texas Lawyer’s 2019 Professional Excellence Awards, a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers – Rising Stars from 2014-2016 and in 2019, and a “20 Under 40” honoree by People Newspapers in 2019. She was also selected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, an honor that is presented to just one-third of 1% of State Bar members each year.

Outside of her practice, Courtney has served an advisory member of SMU’s Folsom Institute for Real Estate and is a member of the Texas Real Estate Council.

Courtney’s addition further expands Jackson Walker’s growing Real Estate Financing practice, which recently welcomed fellow Dallas partners Andrew Ingrum and Michelle Vincent Parker in November 2021.

She received her B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law.
