William Jenkins Elected to Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation

Jackson Walker partnerΒ William Jenkins was recently elected to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Each year, the top one-third of only 1% of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Once nominees are selected, each nominee must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. Election to the Fellows is one of the highest honors granted to a member of the State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Jenkins was selected to the group for his outstanding professional achievements and demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system in Texas. As a member, he will work with other Fellows to promote the importance of professional integrity and the cause of justice in Texas.

Mr. Jenkins has a state and national trial and appellate practice. He has handled many significant cases, including successfully defending several shareholder suits related to the merger of a Texas real estate investment trust with a New York investment company. His practice focuses on disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, internal business disputes, and real estate and construction matters. Mr. Jenkins received his B.B.A. in Real Estate and Urban Land Development, as well as Finance, from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
