Biography
Austin Yancy is an associate in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice of Jackson Walker’s Houston office.
Austinâs practice is focused primarily on complex litigation with an emphasis on high-stakes fiduciary litigation, including will contests, will and trust interpretation issues, prosecution and defense of fiduciary claims.
Austin also provides services to other high-net-worth individuals, including high-profile athletes and sports personalities, multiple first-round Draft Picks, All-Pro and All-American players, as well as majority owners of professional sports franchises in an array of litigation and related transactional matters.
Austin is experienced in all phases of litigation from investigation to trial, including depositions, preparing fact and expert witnesses to testify at trial and in depositions, and arguing various evidentiary and dispositive motions.
Austin has also represented and counseled individuals and companies across a broad array of complex issues, including Federal criminal and civil government enforcement actions, sensitive internal investigations, fraud, enforcement and defense of non-compete agreements, misappropriation of confidential information or trade secrets, tortious interference, regulatory enforcement actions, litigation relating to CERCLA liability and other environmental issues, and mass and toxic torts.
Prior to Jackson Walker, Austin practiced litigation at an international law firm and at a litigation boutique.
