Cale McDowell Appointed to Council of the Texas Exes

Jackson Walker attorney Cale McDowell has been appointed to serve as a member of the Council of the Texas Exes.

Since 1885, the Texas Exes has served as the official alumni association of The University of Texas. With a formidable network of alumni and friends, the Texas Exes is an independent voice that champions The University of Texas and supports its mission to be known worldwide as an institution of the first class. The current Texas Exes leadership includes former U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, as President, former ExxonMobil Vice President and General Counsel Charles Matthews, as Chairman, and former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Antonio Garza, as President–Elect.

Mr. McDowell represents both public and private companies at all stages in a wide array of engagements, including entity structuring and formation, mergers and acquisitions, offerings of debt and equity securities, and general corporate governance and transactional matters. Mr. McDowell received B.B.A., M.P.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
