Each year, Chambers and Partners releases its flagship guides that identify leading practitioners and law firms in the United States and around the world through the culmination of thousands of interviews with attorneys and clients conducted by over 200 research analysts.

In the 2024 guide, Jackson Walker ranked among the top firms nationwide in the Government Relations: State & Local practice table, with the following feedback provided:

Denise Rose, known as a “budget expert” at the Texas Capitol and recognized as a “Top Hired Gun” in the state, was ranked in Band 1 in the 2024 guide by Chambers. Her work for leading companies in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry has been critical; her achievements include boosted funding for graduate medical education and the largest funding increase in history for family violence program services. She is also a respected mentor at the Capitol. In fact, she received the Pink Granite Supporter of Women Award in 2021 in honor of her work at the Texas Capitol and her service to the community.

• Passed a bill for the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association (the client has been trying to get this same bill passed for 30 years before now).
• Got all of the City of Denton’s priorities passed, including a bill giving them the authority to have a qualified hotel project and receive tax rebates from the state, which is a huge economic development win for them.
• Killed bad bills that threatened First Amendment rights and got bills passed on behalf of the Texas Association of Broadcasters which protected the media and promoted open government.
