Jackson Walker attorney Shayan Gaziani has joined the 2023 Council of the Dallas Bar Association’s Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Section.

Founded in 1873, the Dallas Bar Association (DBA) is dedicated to the continuing education of its members as well as public service programs and improvement of the administration of justice. The Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Section is one of 30 different sections of the DBA and is committed to providing free or low-cost CLE through luncheons or seminars.

“It’s an honor to join the council of the Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law section,” Shayan said. “The group does a great job providing relevant CLE to members and providing a forum for members to connect and learn about this ever-evolving area of law.”

Shayan is a corporate and securities attorney with experience handling merger and acquisition transactions, startup counseling, and conducting private offerings. He often handles matters focused on transactional entertainment law, with some of his entertainment clients including influencers, creative entrepreneurs, and fashion designers. Outside of his practice, Shayan also serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Islamic Association of North Texas, one of the largest mosques and interfaith organizations in Texas.
