Bob Latham Accepted Into American Board of Trial Advocates

November 29, 2023 | Attorney News

Jackson Walker proudly congratulates Dallas partner Robert P. Latham on his invitation to join the highly exclusive American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Invitations are presented to a select few trial lawyers who are of high personal character and honorable reputation and who have completed at least 10 civil trials to jury verdict or hung jury as lead counsel. After rigorous vetting by the local chapter of ABOTA, members must have received more than 75% of the vote from the chapter to be presented with an invitation.

Formed in 1958, ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. There are over 7,600 lawyers and judges who hold membership in chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Members are urged to actively participate in their local and national chapters through the many programs offered through the organization.
