Mike Nasi to Square Off in Debate About Climate Change and EPA on Intelligence Squared

Mike is nationally recognized for his experience on Clean Air Act issues. He has been practicing before state and federal environmental and energy agencies and appellate courts for more than 23 years.  Based on his extensive environmental regulatory experience, Mike is often asked to act as a resource for state and federal public officials and is involved in legislative initiatives in several states, as well as in Congress. He is the immediate past chairman of the State Bar of Texas Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section and an appointed member of the legislatively-created TCEQ Pollution Control Property Tax Exemption Advisory Committee.

Mike will join former Assistant Secretary of Energy (and current Rice Energy and Environment Initiative executive director), Charles McConnell, and will square off against the past global Executive Director of the Sierra Club and the Founding Director of Harvard Law School Environmental Law and Policy Program (and former White House counsel) in debating whether the EPA has gone overboard in its attempts to regulate climate change.  The debate will be streamed live on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. and will be rebroadcast subsequently on more than 200 public radio stations.
