Jackson Walker senior counsel Jessica B. Palvino and associate Alyca Garrison are scheduled to present during the Tax Law in a Day Conference, sharing key insights for tax lawyers advising on Equity Compensation Plans. The conference, hosted by the Tax Section of the State Bar of Texas, is set to take place online on February 8-9, 2024. They will be joined by Patti Hedgpeth of Polsinelli PC.

The State Bar of Texas Tax Section is Texas’ only statewide tax bar association, comprised of over 2,200 members and lawyers who specialize in many different areas of taxation. Jessica proudly serves as Vice-Chair of the Employee Benefits Committee.

Jessica B. Palvino advises plan sponsors, plan administrators, and tax-exempt entities on the ever-changing world of employee benefits, executive compensation, and tax obligations. Jessica understands the operational challenges related to plan sponsorship and administration and is well-versed in handling regulatory compliance issues and corrections to plan administration errors.

Alyca Garrison represents public and private sector clients in all areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. As part of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group, Alyca regularly assists clients with design, compliance, and tax issues related to all types of retirement plans, deferred compensation plans, stock option and equity compensation plans, incentive bonus plans, severance and employment agreements, and transaction bonus or change-in-control plans.
