Sara Harris Presents on “2026 ELA Year in Review: US Employment Law” Webinar

January 29, 2026 | Speaking Engagements

Jackson Walker partner Sara K. Harris participated in a panel discussion for Employment Law Alliance addressing the evolving US employment law landscape in response to the current administration’s heightened enforcement. The session covered methods for employers to protect themselves against regulatory challenges while remaining compliant and competitive in business.

The panel addressed the following:

  • Department of Labor priorities, how DEI programs have been affected, and what the EEOC guidance may include for the coming year.
  • How the Federal Trade Commission’s stance, coupled with evolving state statutes, is driving changes in the use and enforceability of non-compete agreements.
  • Helping employers navigate multi-state employment considerations, including remote-work obligations and paid sick leave requirements.
