Founded in 1978, the American College of Real Estate Lawyers is the nation’s premier association of commercial real estate attorneys, dedicated to service to clients, colleagues, and the profession. Membership is limited to distinguished lawyers who have been recognized for their contributions to the practice of real estate law. Fellows of the College participate in initiatives to improve real estate law and practice, develop educational resources, and engage in law reform efforts.

With his election to ACREL, Thad joins Jackson Walker partners Vytas A. Petrulis, Kurt D. Nondorf, and Lewis S. Kasner as a Fellow of the College.

Thad Armstrong is a board-certified commercial real estate attorney who advises and represents buyers and sellers, owners and developers, landlords and tenants, and sublandlords and subtenants in all facets of real estate, development, construction, leasing, and subleasing transactions. He also provides counsel for lenders and borrowers in foreclosures and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure.
