This marks Alfie’s seventh year—and fourth consecutive year—to be included among Houston’s “Top 100” list, as well as his 19th consecutive year to be named a “Texas Super Lawyer.” Board certified in commercial real estate law, Alfie focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of developers and equity investors in partnership and joint venture agreements, borrowers and lenders in all types of real estate financing, debt restructuring, and workouts of problem loans. As a widely known and respected professional, Kurt’s national practice covers all areas of real estate, ranging from raw land to industrial, healthcare, multi-family, retail, and hospitality. In his more than 30 years of practice, he has handled multiple nine-figure office acquisitions and sales and has represented both tenants and landlords in several leases of greater than 400,000 square feet. This is Kurt’s 19th consecutive year to be named a “Texas Super Lawyer.” He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America since 2006 and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2002 for real estate. For over 35 years, Bruce has represented financial institutions, corporations, and other business entities in workout/restructure efforts, chapter bankruptcy proceedings, and litigation. He also serves as chair of Jackson Walker’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, & Recovery practice. This is Bruce’s 19th consecutive year to be named a “Texas Super Lawyer.” He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America since 2008, including as Houston’s Lawyer of the Year for Litigation – Bankruptcy in 2020, and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2012.
