Marc Fuller Expands Media Law, Appellate, and Class Action Groups at Jackson Walker

Jackson Walker is pleased to announce the addition of Marc Fuller as a partner in the Trial & Appellate Litigation practice in Dallas. Licensed to practice in California and Texas, Marc focuses on the areas of media and First Amendment disputes, class actions, and appeals.

Marc FullerMarc’s practice focuses on the representation of media and nonmedia clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes. His media litigation experience includes defamation, privacy, copyright, and other disputes over content and newsgathering. He has extensive experience representing technology and online services companies in disputes over content moderation, user anonymity, and digital privacy. Marc has also handled a broad range of litigation for nonmedia companies, focusing on appeals, consumer class actions, and First Amendment matters. He has authored amicus briefs in precedent-setting media and First Amendment issues in the Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.

Dallas partner David T. Moran, as leader of the Class Action group, added that, “Marc has a strong background in federal appeals and class actions. We look forward to Marc joining the section.”

Marc obtained his B.A. from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School. Prior to private practice, he served as a judicial clerk to The Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and to The Honorable Fortunato P. Benavides, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
